Faux Painting: Global Warming Bathroom

This new bathroom has been dubbed 'The Global Warming Bathroom' because in addition to it's non-toxic globe-like paint finish, all the new lighting fixtures are fluorescent (however, I will post on the hidden dangers of fluorescent lighting soon). It also gets very hot and steamy in there due to the big hot tub.

Faux Painting: Red Antiqued Leather

This spare bedroom is going to be turned into an office with a large burled maple desk in the corner to pull the colors of the log back into the other side of the room.

The walls now look like real leather . . . but I can assure you that no animals were harmed to create these walls!

Earth Day: Happy Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day from the Adirondacks!
Check out the views here! You can see for miles and miles....
And these Scottish Highlanders are just beautiful.
They also have a lifespan of twenty years and love to play with the dogs! They are just adorable!

Faux Painting: Denim with Seams

Denim blue jeans bathroom that I just finished yesterday. Complete with seams and double stitching!

A great finish for this log home which I hope will look like it belongs in a Sundance catalog when I am through with it!
